PHOTO After 859 days and thousands of miles Ed Stafford became the first man known to have walked the entire length of the Amazon river.

A British explorer and his guide became the first to walk the entire length of the Amazon River in an incredible 2 1/2 year trek. They suffered insects,snakes,wild animals,sickness,infection dehydration and incredible fatigue and hunger during moments of their incredible journey extraordinaire.
